- 4 Common Feng Shui Blunders
by Ascisco Pecunia
|
The results that come from practicing
good feng shui have managed to elude many of us who have decided
to give it a try. Here are 4 commonly made mistakes in the practice
of feng shui:
1.Great expectations. After rearranging
your furniture to harness good feng shui, you now sit and wait
impatiently for the results. Expecting too much, too soon may
be an obstacle towards generating the desired results. The angst
that you generate from your impatience may neutralize the positive
effect of good feng shui. Instead, take it easy and have an open
mind, and soon you will realize that feng shui begins to world
for you even without you realizing it!
2.Consulting too many feng shui
experts. Although feng shui principles are very much universal,
when you consult a variety of experts, you're bound to get a
variety of solutions; just like how different doctors can prescribe
different sets of advice. The key is to educate yourself with
the basics, and make the decisions based on your own judgment.
Very often it is better and more effective to keep things simple. |

3. Not using a proper compass.
Very often, beginners start the practice of feng shui without
even using a compass. A rough estimation of the directions using
the direction of the sun can be misleading. Buy a good compass,
and determine the directions of your house by using the plan
or blueprint of your house. It can be quite dangerous to activate
the wrong sectors of a room!
4. Not using conventional wisdom,
a.k.a. common sense! Experts will usually advise on an array
of feng shui remedies for our homes. It is impossible to have
a house with perfect feng shui. Feng shui solutions may work
for one house but not for another. The key is to practice feng
shui within the realms of practicality. It is not advisable to
be too dogmatic in the practice
of feng shui.
A feng shui remedy is available
for each and every one of our problems. Approach feng shui with
the right mindset, and watch it transform your life for the better! |
