What can I do to stop my homemade bath salts from hardening?

High humidity areas tend to have problems with their baths salts hardening. To remedy this, just add a couple of tablespoons of glycerin to the recipe.

Another tip: make sure all bottles are thoroughly washed and dried 24 hours before bottling recipe... this helps to prevent hardening as well.

Suggestions For Gift Giving:

Make your recipe, place in a decorative bottle or jar. For that extra thoughtful touch write the recipe on a little card, tie onto the bottle with a beautiful ribbon or raffia for that natural look. Your friends and family will appreciate the gift of a relaxing bath!

Where can I find the ingredients?

Most ingredients can be found at the following locations:

* Drug stores
* health food stores
* & grocery stores
* or online

Most ingredients you probably have at home on hand!
