iconCute Curls...Even For Pin-Straight Hair! - BY MEGHAN

I was reading all the reader's suggestions on this site and I couldn't think of anything I could contribute. Then it occurred to me that I could share with all of you one of my awesome hair ideas.

What you'll need:

  • 1 old towel that you wouldn't mind putting in your hair
  • Scissors
  • Water in a spray bottle or your fave spray conditioner
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • Hair spray

First, prepare towels. You are going to want to lay the towel in front of you and cut strips of about 1in. by 8in. (people with shorter hair can do it 1" by 6" if they want). Then dampen (the wetter the better) and comb through hair. Separate into 2in. sec.

Add salt to water and spritz the first strand your going to curl. Start rolling hair about an inch and half a way from one end. You want your hair to spread out among the whole towel strip but you don't want to be able to see the towel in between each twist of hair.

When you get close to the scalp grab both ends of towel and twist it tight to your head then tie the end of the towel into a knot. Continue this for your whole head of hair. Then sleep in them. In the morning undue knots (do not pull curls before spraying especially if you have naturally straight hair because that will cause the curl to uncurl itself and you don't want that to happen) and spritz with hair spray.

You will have a cute hair do that's prefect for anything!

If your hair is a bit greasy pat some baby powder into it. Use only if you are blonde or else it looks like you have silver hair.

To condition the hair prior to washing, use 1/4 of a can of unsweetened coconut milk, apply to hair and leave on for as long as desired, wash and condition as usual.

Hair will be silky soft.

Take about 5 tablespoons of olive oil and evenly spread it on hair and get all the hair. Leave it on for 15 min then rinse it off with warm water. It gives you silky and shiny hair.
iconOily Hair and No Time to Wash? BY PRINCESS

Oily hair and no time to wash? Problem!!! If you have oily hair and a busy schedule, which gives you no time to wash your hair every day, don't fret cause this works!!! Take baby powder and put some in your hair, then comb/brush it through your hair so it isn't noticeable, the powder will actually work as a sponge and suck up the oil in your hair!

NOTE: You will still have to wash your hair at least 2 times a week, this doesn't clean your hair just rids it of the oil!
