iconMoisturizing Hair - BY NICKMARS55
To help keep your hair healthy and deep clean. Just put a little Wesson Oil on you hair 30 minutes before you wash your hair. Do this a time or two a week and you will be able to tell a big difference. It not hard to wash out, a couple of latherings will get the oil out.
iconHair Beautifier - BY LAM B.

I love your board!!! Here is one thing I want to share.

I did a hair mask the other day using a mashed avocado (I have long hair, can use half for shorter hair), an egg yolk and half a teaspoon of olive oil. I wet my hair, put the mixture all over my hair and put a plastic cap over it. Then, I wear a conditioning heat cap (available in beauty supply store for about $21, one of the best hair care investments I every made!). I waited for 30 min (the longer the better). Then I shampoo and condition as usual. My hair turn out amazingly shiny and and I don't remember it being any softer in my life!

iconDry Hair Effective Remedy - BY DR.SYED
If you have dry, dull, damaged hair, by putting oil on hair doesn't make your hair moisturized for the long-term. But there is hope. If you want your hair to be moisturized for the long term, put coconut oil on just the scalp and roots of your hair, than take 5 cups of water and boil in a pot. When the water is boiled, place a clean towel in the water and wait until it gets very hot. Then take the towel out of the pot and wrap it around your hair for 20 minutes. The steam from the towel will evaporate into your scalp with the coconut oil making your hair healthier and more softer. I do this all the time and my hair went from dry dull hair to shiny and silky hair in weeks. For this to to work effectively, you have to do this once a week. Go and give it a try!!
iconHair Treatment - BY ANU
Beat egg whites slightly stiff, add some coconut oil, mix well and apply on scalp. Wrap head with saran wrap and leave it in for half an hour. Shampoo as usual. This will condition and leave your hair soft and silky.
iconHair Care Tip for Dry & Frizzy Hair - BY B.P.

My hair care tip is for dry and frizzy hair and only has one ingredient: olive oil. I use olive oil for my skin (as a lotion), lips (natural balm), hair (leave-in conditioner), feet (during scrubs with sugar and honey), food (salad dressing with lemon and garlic)--just about everything. Olive oil softens the hair, makes hair shiny, and isn't greasy when used in moderate amounts. Best of all it can keep hair moisturized for many days.

Simply apply a moderate amount of olive oil to towel dried hair or slightly damp hair (works on dry hair as well, but make certain hair is clean). Take care not to use too much oil. Work through hair, paying special attention to the ends. Style hair as usual. Wear a silk cap at night to keep hair from drying or breaking due to cotton pillowcases. I don't wash the olive oil out for several days as other tips require because I like the shine it gives my hair. If you find that your hair has become too greasy or has a smell to it after leaving the olive oil on your hair for some time, wash out with your regular shampoo--it still makes your hair soft!
