Help For Mild Skin Conditions
- BY ANGIE M. |
|
I have a tip to add for those
readers suffering from eczema, psoriasis or any mild skin condition
(including mild cases of acne). Make a strong pot of redbush/rooibos
tea and add it to your bath. Alternatively, you can apply a cooled
used rooibos teabag to the affected area and let the tea dry
on the skin, no rinsing.
Rooibos has brilliant anti-inflammatory
and healing properties and is starting to gain recognition world
wide. It is healthier than Green Tea as it is caffeine free and
very low in tannin and has more anti-oxidants than green or black
tea. |

Beauty Secret - BY J.M. |
|
Hi, here is something I learned
and wanted to share to help others...
When feeling stressed, and not
like yourself, try doing 20 minutes of light yoga. Next, take
a warm bubble bath. Add 2 cups milk, for softened skin. Take
deep breaths and focus in prayer. I've found that this really
helps on days when I'm not feeling myself. |
My Beauty Secret For Whiter Teeth - BY ALICIA A. |
I know that when you hear what
I use to whiten my teeth you probably won't believe it, but if
you brush with strawberries, and then rinse with cold water,
you will notice a big difference.
This site is so awesome. Thank you everyone for putting their
beauty secrets on here, now my friends and I have beauty days
with these recipes. |
Soft Skin -
BY K. RAINA |
|
If you apply olive oil right
after taking a bath and then rinse it off. You'll be touching
your skin all day.
Try Flucort-H for pimples. It
really truly works.
* Editor's Note: Generic name for Flucort-H is: Fluocinolone
(steroid). It is used to treat various skin conditions. Helps
with dryness, itching, redness and inflammation. |
Smooth Lips -
BY TAMMY |
|
If you're waking up in the morning
with dry cracking lips, then right before you go to bed put your
favorite kind of lip chap on. The lip chap should stay on all
night and you'll wake up with fresh, smooth lips. |
