iconHomemade Lip Gloss - BY ANDREA M.

If you have a favorite blush or eyeshadow shade and you'd like a matching lip gloss, you can make it yourself. I made my own when I was bored and got compliments from all my friends!

1. Get a small container of clear lip balm that you have hanging around like The Body Shop Lip Balm in strawberry (or any clear lip balm with a screw on lid).

2. Get some of your favourite blush or eyeshadow shade. (You know when you have just a bit around the edges that you can't use and you just don't want to throw it out?)

3. If your lip balm is new, you might want to empty some of it into a film container, so there is room for mixing.

4. Find a tool such as a knife to scrape your eyeshadow/blush into the container.

5. After you add some colouring, stir well. Repeat this until you are satisfied with the colour and voila!

iconBeauty Tip - BY GCFAN55
I know that a lot of girls that have e-mailed this site have suggested to put toothpaste on a blemish. And I feel bad saying otherwise but I heard that toothpaste is bad for your skin and you shouldn't use it on blemishes. But use witchhazel instead.
iconYogurt Drink Good for Complexion - BY TRACY W.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of natural non-fat yogurt
1/3 cup of Grape Juice
1/2 teaspoon of Green Tea powder

Mix everything together and mix in cube to drink.

iconBeauty Tips - BY SHEETAL

Hi I've tried this recipe and it works.

Mix honey, glycerine and lemon juice in equal quantities and store in a jar. Apply this mixture on the face and neck. Massage well and leave it on for 15 mins. Rinse it off and apply a face pack that suits you. This procedure makes the skin soft and brings a glow to the face. The results are seen in less than 10 days.

Another tip: To lighten darkened skin mix milk and lemon juice in equal quantities and apply over affected area. Leave on till it dries out and wash. The results are visible pretty fast.

iconAvocado Mask - BY JAREN B.

(Great for hands & feet)

Mash an avocado and mix with either cold cream or olive oil. Massage into feet and hands and wrap with saran wrap. Let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water for silky smooth hands and feet. (remove any nail polish beforehand.)
