iconWhat's in Your Cosmetics? - BY KELLY

As you may no already, many face creams, lotions, and washes sometimes do more harm than good, so start checking the ingredients on your cosmetics!! Here are a few ingredients to watch out for.

Isopropyl Myristate - causes spots.

Pariffinum liquidum/Mineral oil - clogs up pores and then leads to blemishes.

Lanolin - Animal fat, softens skin but gives you serious acne if used often.

Hope you start checking your cosmetics for these ingredients now, they can be in anything, from foundation and lipstick to face cream and body wash.

iconSkin Care - BY MICHAEL M.
Ok, one day I decided to try something that would improve me. I made my own lotion that really worked. Have you ever felt that you want to get up and go do something , but you don't know what it is? Well, all you have to do is pick 3 of each of your 10 favorite flowers, add 1 teaspoon flour, 4 teaspoon water, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon salt, and put it all in a blender, and then after everything is as smooth as it can get, drain the lotion part into a container, (use a fine strainer) and then take all the bits out of the strainer and continue to do so until all the bumps are out. It can last up to 3 weeks, and still keep the smell. It sinks into your skin, and then cleanses your soul.
iconZip Ze Zits - BY TONY O.

Hi! I get zits and use this to get rid of them. I first steam my pores open by soaking a flannel in hot water and holding it on my face for 30-50 seconds. Pat your face dry then dab your zits with tea tree oil.

THIS WORKS, AS SURE AS LAMBS TURN INTO SHEEP!

iconAcne Scars - BY NAOMI S.
I don't get tons of pimples, but the ones I get tend to leave red scars. I found something that works quite well. Use a pin or needle to poke a hole in a vitamin E capsule, apply some of the contents to your scars after you wash your face before going to bed. Leave on overnight. After the first use, there was a noticeable improvement. You do not need to use the whole capsule at one time, I find they last about a week depending on the number of scars you have. Results are not as dramatic after the first night but you will see steady improvement.
iconDry Skin - BY ESPERANZA B.
A glass of water add a squeeze of lemon and add 3 pieces of cucumber! It really works
