She explains that Marine Mineral
Complex contains sea salt and sea water, which carries extracts
of brown algae. All are rich in minerals that replenish, aid
detoxification, and increase the skin's ability to hold moisture.
The spa collection contains
a variety of pampering products, but Springer has a few favorites.
One recommendation is the Marine Salt Scrub Souffle, and the
Skin Renewing Body Lotion, both of which contain Marine Mineral
Complex. "The souffle exfoliates and moisturizes with sea
salts and tropical oils, while the body lotion speeds up the
skin's natural renewal process with alpha and beta hydroxy acids,"
she says.
Springer also shared her special
recipe for a luxurious in-home foot treatment: Add a few capfuls
of Foaming Foot Soak to a warm footbath (for added moisture,
you may also add a tablespoon of Sea Salt Mineral Soak to the
water as well) and soak feet for about 10 minutes. Use the Souffle
to exfoliate, rinse, and then slather on High Intensity Foot
Treatment, with its refreshing rosemary, mint scent. Then tuck
feet into Garden Botanika's Immersion Booties to help the lotion
penetrate and moisturize.
Immersion Booties are just one
of the accessories that make the in-home spa experience complete.
Other special additions include Immersion Gloves; Soothing Eye
Gels to comfort and revive tired eyes; Hand and Foot Cozies filled
with flaxseed and scented with mint, lavender and sweet orange,
which can be used heated or chilled for comforting relief.
Why not go the extra mile and
set the stage for your home spa:
* Lay out a generous supply
of the nicest towels in the house.
* Buy some gently scented candles
(or raid other rooms in the house), and place them strategically
around the bathroom.
* Cue up your favorite relaxing
music on the CD player. |
