BobbieB’s Chicken Soup
An original soup recipe from BobbieB

Cook boneless skinless chicken breasts in pressure cooker, until done with 2 T. Better
Than Boullion Chicken broth…
1 can low sodium chicken broth
1 crushed garlic clove…(I used a garlic press)
black pepper
½ t . Mrs. Dash original
1 t. poultry seasonings
½ t sage
water to cook in pressure cooker (to cover chicken )
Cook under pressure until done….or cook all this in open pot and watch and add water or
chicken stock as needed…cook chicken until very tender and will pull apart.

Take out cooked chicken to cool on plate
Pour stock from pressure cooker into larger cooking pot…
Add:
1 very large chopped onion or two
5 stalks celery sliced
about 8 Spring onions sliced
1 handfull chopped parsley
4-6 small potatoes cut into cubes.
chopped chicken back into pot
more water as needed
more chicken “better than bouillion if needed
3 T. butter
1 bay leaf
4 large sliced fresh carrots
large handful mixed frozen veggies such as Broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, etc.
large handful frozen butter beans
large handful frozen garden peas
1 can Great Northern beans, (packed in water not sauce)

Add water as needed to keep soupy, and/or canned chicken broth.
Cook until all is done and right to serve…
I like to cook this a long time…almost an hour at least..but watch the liquid and keep
soupy, like you would like to serve, I like some liquid broth in it…….;You could
add other veggies also…like a
handful of green beans…or a small handful white shoepeg corn…We loved this soup
and I’ve tried to write it down, so I can do it again… A garnish of chopped chives or
spring onions would be nice on top of each bowl…even a little chopped
parsley…..Enjoy !!!!!!!!!! BobbieB
