2 cans LeSeur Peas, drained
1 stick butter
2 cups half & HalfTake 1 can drained Peas, all of the half and half and the 1 stick of butter. Blend until creamy. Put in Saucepan and add the can of peas. Heat until soothingly warm. Pour in serving bowls and top with paprika. Serve hot. Serves 2-4 depending upon your serving bowls or cups. You're going to love this! It is so soothing. You can also make with 2 cans diced stewed tomatoes (do not drain the tomatoes!) as a substitution for the 2 cans peas...then you have Maryann's Cream of Tomato Soup. There are other substitutions such as 2 cans drained corn. My husband loves every one of these recipes and so is your husband. I have served the pea soup to people who absolutely hate peas and they love it. I have yet to serve this soup to someone that does not love it! Would love to hear your comments!
