Beauty Secrets- BY CAITLIN

- Eat healthy and natural first. I get all organic foods. It is better for your body because you aren't putting chemicals in yourself.

- Don't use heavy foundations it looks like you are wearing a mask. Use light ones. They are easier to blend and looks like its your natural skin.

- Spray leave in conditioner, its a must in the summer for your hair. It helps it to get moisturized even if you don't have time to use the regular conditioners in the shower.

- Don't forget your scalp needs sunscreen too, but don't use lotion, that will just make your hair greasy. Instead use a spray. I use one in an aerosol can.

All Over Foot Softner & So Much More - BY MONRO

--> Grind a half-cup of each: walnuts, brown sugar with two teaspoons each of honey, almond oil and jojoba oil in a food processor. Rub the mixture on damp feet like an exfoliator, rinse it off and then moisturize.

--> Also, if you apply face mask to tops of your feet and toes, put on cotton socks and go to bed, your feet will feel soft and smooth when you wake up. Knees and elbows can be addressed by slathering them with lotion and applying tube socks with the toes cut out so you can slip them on over top of problem areas.

--> Another tip for extremely dry hands is to slather them in lotion of choice and place them in plastic baggies and cover for 15 minutes with a heating pad. The heat opens pores and allows the moisturizer to soak in better.

--> To intensify the effect of any moisturizer apply a little extra virgin olive oil on top. Olive oil is also a wonderful once a week treatment to revive your hair. Heat up a few tablespoons of olive oil in the microwave, run it over unwashed hair, leave on for 20 minutes and then shampoo.

--> A damp towel heated in the microwave for about 20 seconds and wrapped around head that has conditioner provides a deep conditioning effect.

--> If your scalp is tight and dry, rinse with apple cider. Its soothing and removes excess buildup from hair products.

--> Chapped lips can be alleviated by using a teaspoon of honey and sugar on a toothbrush, (or 1/2 teaspoon baking soda mixed with contents of Vitamin E capsule will also work) which removes loose skin, making them soft and smooth. Genty brush lips with mixture.

Sun-Kissed Tan in 1 Minute - BY IRINA

A great way to get instantly tanned is by using:

* baby oil
* bronzing powder

I combine these two ingredients equally and spread on my body until its dry. What's great about this remedy is that the bronzing powder will give you a nice sun-kissed tan and the baby oil gives you a luminous glow and super smooth and soft skin. This is 100% safe to your skin unlike tanning beds and the sun which causes UV rays and pre-mature aging. This remedy is also used by super models and on runway shows! :)

Also, a great way to get instantly tanned on the face: Apply equal amounts of bronzing powder with moisturizer. Apply until dry!

Hope you like my remedy!

The Cool Healing of a Cucumber Toner - BY ANGELA B.

1 medium cucumber
2 tablespoon witch hazel
2 tablespoon reverse osmosis or distilled water

Puree the cucumber in a blender or food processor. Strain the puree overnight to achieve a clear green liquid. To ¼ cup of the cucumber extract, add witch hazel and water. Some recommend an alcohol but this should never be used, as it is an irritant. Keep refrigerated, good for about 1 week. Your refrigerator will smell nice too. Pour the mixture into a mister, shake and spray on after cleansing. Remove with a cotton pad and moisturize. Cucumber is best known for its healing properties. This is my personal favourite! You will feel cool, clean and refreshed. You could also substitute the cucumber for strawberry for oil control during those summer months. Hmm. Yum yum.

Moisturizing Lip Balm Recipe - BY JONQUILLE L.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 teaspoon beeswax
1 1/2 teaspoon shea butter
1/2 teaspoon jojoba oil
1/2 teaspoon sweet almond oil
3-4 drops sweet orange oil or peppermint oil (or flavor oil if you prefer)
10 drops vitamin E 1000 IU

Instructions:

Melt beeswax, shea butter, and oils together in a double boiler. Remove from heat. When mixture has cooled down a bit, add essential oil and the vitamin E into the mixture. Stir and pour into lip balm containers. Allow to solidify. This should be hard enough to use in lip balm tubes. If it is too hard, add a little more jojoba or sweet almond oil.

Makes about 5 tubes.
