Excellent Exfolient - BY Shelly L
Wheat germ makes an excellent exfoilant it good for your skin and gentle...anything that scratches the skin although seems to feel nice does more damage than good...sugar, salt (baking soda is fine when wet) ground nut shells are fine for hands and other body parts but not the face! The skin there is more sensitive and should be treated with gentler products. Simply put about a teaspoon in your hand, add enough water to make a paste, and rub over your face and neck...rinse well...tends to get caught in the hair line and can look like strange dandruff! Natural wheat germ needs a cool dry storage...toasted is fine used daily in the bathroom (assuming it doesn't sit for weeks) Also when treating acne (something i've struggled with most of my life) the temptation is to get rid of the skins natural oils with tough astringents and scrubs but the key is like this site suggests...cleanse well (not harshly) exfoliate...use a toner (cider vinegar and water...1tspCV-3TW is excellent) and moisturize! Use a good moisturizer...invest...nothing heavy especially at night.
Jojoba Oil - BY WINTER

Greetings,
I would like to tout an all natural product: jojoba (ho-ho-ba) oil. Pure jojoba oil is by far one of the best moisturizers nature has to offer. It is the oil most closely like skin's own, so is readily available to your skin. It is a bit pricey, (I pay $25 a quart) but a little goes a very long way, and it will not get rancid.

It can be used on face and body, is non-irritating, and has a very subtle, neutral scent. I have very sensitive combination skin that will break out if anything even slightly irritating is applied to it, and have discovered that jojoba oil is perfect for moisturizing it.
Thanks for your wonderful site.

Removing Redness From Blemishes- BY MEGAN M
I dont really know how i got the idea but what i did was i wanted to get rid of the redness of one of my blemishes. I took a potato and sliced off a piece. I held it on my skin for about 10 minutes and the redness almost seemed to disappear. I use this method whenever i get a cut or blemish that is hard to cover up w/ foundation.

Thanks For Contributing
