| Pain-Free Eyebrow Plucking & No More Stretch Marks - BY KELLY |
|
Hi! I have two beauty tips to share. For pain-free eyebrow plucking, forget ice cubes. They don't work! They may temporarily, but not through the whole thing. Instead, soak a wash cloth in hot/warm water, then apply to eyebrows. Hold for about 15 seconds each. Then, apply Orajel or Baby Orajel to eyebrows (only to your eyebrows!). This will numb the whole area so you can begin plucking without the pain. The numbness will wear away after you're all done. For stretch marks, I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion. There are a few products by Palmer's, but I use the tube of lotion (you can find it at Walmart or other places like that I'm sure). If you use it on stretch marks (or on any kind of scarred skin) every time you get out of the shower, you should start to notice the stretch marks/scars fading and your skin tone getting nice and even. I don't use it for facial scars b/c I always worry about clogging pores, but you might try that for acne scars and other face scars. Another thing that I've heard that works great is pure vitamin E. You can just buy the capsules, puncture them with a pin, and apply to stretch marks and scars (safe for face, too!). This should also help fade the scars. Good luck!! |

| Instead of using cucumber on your eyes use cold teabags. Leave on for 5-10 mins. Leaves your eyes bright and refreshed! |
| Soy - BY KAREN |
|
Hi, Maybe not so much a 'beauty secret' but a good suggestion. It's soy - milk that is. I've been drinking about one juice glass full of organic soy milk for about 6 months now and notice how much stronger my nails are - my sister says the same thing. I'd like to know if anyone else has found any benefits from being on soy. |
