Soothe A Sunburn - BY DAVID R
A good solution for sunburns would have to be a paper bag soaked with vinegar. Tear up the paper bag and soak it in vinegar then place bag evenly across the burn, this draws out the heat and keeps you from wanting to scratch your burn. Some people say to use aloe vera but I found that some people can be allergic to it so be careful and the vinegar remedy really does work...a true lifesaver.
Potato for Burns - BY DIANA J
A waitress once told me this in a restaurant and it sooooooo works. If you get burnt when cooking etc., any skin burn, cut a potato and rub all over burn so that the juices spread over your burn. Even better is to grate a little and then pat it all over your burn and leave a few minutes. Next day, there will be no mark, this always works for me and I use to mark really badly. Recently, when I burnt my mouth upon tasting something too hot(you know how that hurts and annoys your mouth for days), well, I just chewed up a piece of raw potato in mouth, (no skin), left it in there a few minutes and the next day fine as ever. It truly is amazing.
Stop The Cravings - BY MzPoRsChE
Hey, I have tried this method for ages and it really does work.
All you have to do is follow these simple instructions and you will notice that you wont be craving for all that junk food. Here's what you do...

1. Slice a lemon in half
2. Take a half of the lemon and squeeze it into a cup
3. Add water with the lemon so the cup is full
4. Enjoy, the result is outstanding and you will notice your body looking slimmer. You will also find this drink very refreshing especially in the summer time.
Cold Remedy - BY CLAUDIA R
At the first sign of a cold, crush some garlic and mix with honey or a little olive oil and drink. Taste nasty but, it works.
Drawing Out Splinters and Boils - BY SHELLYBOB

When you have an annoying splinter that won't come out or a boil that won't come to a head, rub some soap onto a plaster and add a little bit of sugar then put the plaster over the splinter or boil and leave on for 24 hours. If it still hasn't come out, try again but trust me it should work first time. Its helped me loads of times!!!

Editor's Note: A plaster is also known as a Band-Aid.
