Hair Care Tip - BY CREATURE

This is a great site, especially with all the easy, homemade recipes for body care.

Here's one for you hair that cleans out all the chemicals and different things that have accumulated on your scalp and gets rid of dandruff leaving your hair with more body, conditioned, soft, smooth, and very clean.

1.) After shampooing, mix with your conditioner:
1 egg yolk
2.) Thoroughly rinse with lukewarm water. (Hot water will "cook" yolk and cold water will close pores.)
3.) For final rinse, use 1/4 or 1/2 (depending on hair length) cup any type vinegar diluted with water.

The vinegar rinse has worked especially well with my dark hair while the yolk puts nourishment into conditioner.

Keep in mind that when blow drying your mop, make sure your hair has been at least half-way air dried as blow drying wet hair will make your hair easily break and tear while drying it out unnessesarily.

Eating nuts occasionally will help with those bad hair days, or when your hair just seems to lack it's luster.

Hope this helps.

2) one tablespoon of plain yogurt

Blend all the things together and spread all over hair. Cover with plastic wrap and leave on for 20 minutes. Shampoo out. You'll have nice soft hair.

Tangles - BY VAL
If you have a really bad tangle. Put peanut butter in your hair. Brush out.
Hair Straightening - BY TESS

Here are my tips on hair straightening for people with wavy or slightly curly hair that want it straight but still healthy:

1) Wash with a regular shampoo that will remove buildup or at least prevent it- I use Neutragena its affordable and works well.

2) Use a good condioner that won't weigh hair down but still will condition it - . recommend V05 because it smells REALLY good or something like it.

3) Once out of the shower, wring hair out until it doesn't drip anymore, then dry as much as possible with a towel.

4) Apply a little bit of straightening gel before blow drying and in between towel drying.

5) Blow dry by taking sections at a time and with a flat brush- it takes a while to master exactly how to straighten accurately but its worth it.

6) Use a little bit of gel or cream or something to keep it straight and non-frizzy.

7) It should last for about 2 days, depending on temperatures.
