Getting "Green" Chlorine out of Blonde Hair - BY RBOBBRANDT
Last summer I had to take my seven year old blonde daughter to the salon to get the chlorine removed from her hair that was turning green from swimming in the community pool. The treatment was expensive and had to be repeated. The salon suggested I purchase an expensive product to use at home, it didn't work. A friend suggested that I get a small packet of unsweetned lemon drink mix and mix the packet with the shampoo and apply it to her hair. The chlorine was immediately removed from her hair. The 'kool-aid' treatment only cost about six cents per treatment.
Lighten your hair! - BY MARSHA D
If you rinse your hair with chamomile, it brings out the natural highlights in your hair. Also, if you want to help lighten your hair, you should put lemon juice and the pulp in your hair, leave it in for a while, then wash it out. You also have to be in the sun while you have the lemon juice in your hair.
Straight Hair Everyday - BY CALLAN A
I bought a pair of GHD hair straighteners with ceramic irons - they really straighten your hair EVERY day and because they are ceramic, do not damage hair like metal straighteners.
Shinier Healthier Hair - BY BROKEN
Just mix a big spoon full of honey with a spoonful of lemon juice and about 4 or 5 cups of warm water, and pour it in your hair after you have shampooed and rinsed. Leave the mixture in your hair. Smells good, and makes your hair feel great!
