This holiday season, you might receive a pot from a friend or relatives and have been able to use it many times. However, you have not considered the correct way of cleaning it. Well, in most cases it is what usually happens to pots. In fact, some people believe that the most abuse equipment in the kitchen is the pots. They barely suffer from heat and often coated with food stain. Obviously, this will cause them to look old, ugly and retired too soon.

Luckily, there are ways to get rid of those causing aluminum oxide. Once you diminish its volume to your aluminum stock pots then you will surely retain its new look. So let us get started in order to maintain its cleanliness and beauty we better do the following advices.

1. In cases of newly bought pot, washing it is the very best of preventing aluminum oxide. First thing you will do is remove the grease in your pot. This will surely keep your pot out of aluminum oxide. You can use a pad which will wipe it. Of course, make sure to fill your sink with hot water and soap. You can use your favorite liquid detergent. No wonder, you are going to wash your pot so these are really required. After washing, you can see you aluminum stock shines again.

2. In cases of pots where burnt food are present, boiling it with water is the first thing to do. Once you discover that there is a food burned in the bottom of your aluminum pot, immediately put water in it. Let it boil for five minutes to soften the harden food residue. Afterwards, scrape it with wooden spatula. The purpose of using wooden is to retain the smoothness surface of your pot. You can do it as much as you think there are still residues in it.

There is some advice also that helps you avoid any food sticks to your pot. According to experts, you can use canola oil. You can shake over on your pot as you do cooking using that pot. Just like they say, prevention is better than cure. Indeed, it is a big help.

3. In cases of pots with heavy oxidation, something acid can help you to get rid of it. Let the mixture of water and two tablespoons of vinegar, cream of tartar, or lemon juice for each quart of water to boil in your pot. Wait until fifteen minutes. You can do it as much as it is needed. This applies to some aluminum kitchen equipments too.

To get rid of it, you can use baking soda too. Mix one cup of baking soda with the water. Let it stay for an hour to effectively clean your pot. This will disinfect your pots.

These are few of the simple tips that you can easily carry out in your house and retain the beauty of your pots. In this way, you are assured that it will serve you for a long time. Therefore, you can eat good food cooked with your aluminum stock pot.
