Combine in a slow cooker or
crock-pot all ingredients.
1 rump roast or chuck roast
1 bay leaf
1 onion, sliced in large chunks
1 large carrot, sliced in large chunks
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp of salt
Broth to cover half way up the roast
Cook on low for 4-5 hours or
until the meat is fork tender. You can serve this with baked
potatoes and a fresh green salad.
