Step 1: Fire up the Grill
You want to have a medium grill heat, you should be able to hold
your hand over the grill (notice I said over, not on) for about
3-5 seconds before having to pull away. You also want to make
sure the coals are evenly spread out. That way you can ensure
even cooking and color to your pizza.
Step 2: Grill your toppings
Since you have your grill all ready, why not grill your toppings.
Grilled vegetables, chicken, steak, or shrimp make wonderful
toppings for a grilled pizza.
Step 3: Grilling the Dough
Prior to putting dough on the grill, you should place it on aluminum
foil and place it in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes. This
will make it easier to work with and will allow you an easy way
to transfer your dough to the grill. To put your dough on the
grill, simply place it, dough side down and then remove the foil. |
