Here is a list of what you should include in your medicine kit, having these supplies on hand makes life less stressful when accidents do occur. Its a wise thing to always be prepared for the unexpected!

* Rolls of gauze bandages 2 inch and 4 inch widths
* Sterile gauze pads, packed individually
* Adhesive bandages, various sizes
* Butterfly bandages
* Roll of adhesive tape 1 inch width
* Scissors
* Elastic bandage 3 inch width
* Cotton tipped swabs
* Roll of absorbent cotton
* Small bottle of aspirins and acetaminophen
* Thermometer
* Petroleum jelly
* Syrup of ipeac
* Powdered activated charcoal
* Tweezers and sewing needles



* Small bottle of childrens acetaminophen for those younger than 12
* Hydrogen peroxide
* Calamine lotion
* Bar of plain soap
* Flashlight and extra batteries
* Large triangular bandages
* Large safety pins
* Antacid
* Antibiotic ointment
* Antiseptic wipes
* Antihistamine
* Dosage spoon or eyedropper
* Safety matches
* Paper tissues
* First aid manual
