Four Secrets to Bring More Joy Into Your Life
By Francoise Rapp

1. How Scents Can Encourage a Good Mood
Essential oils are one of the most versatile ways to create the life and mood you truly desire. Whether you use them in diffusion, massage, inhalation (even with just a few drops in the palms of your hands), or bath, essential oils will help enhance happiness and amusement.

Here's a short list of the best essential oils that will surely bring you a burst of joy! Blend them one with one another (no more than three in a blend), experiment, and enjoy them fully.

Orange: This is the perfect "anti-gloom" essential oil! It brings a sense of joy, happiness, and playfulness.

Mandarin: Mandarin reminds you of the simple fun of our childhood. It brings laughter, humor, and a child-like energy.

Lemon: Lemon exchanges a grouchy mood for a more humorous one. It enhances energy, happiness, and amusement.

Grapefruit: Grapefruit helps you see and create more fun in your everyday life. It helps you let go, revive, and laugh!

Lime: Lime turns your negative perspective into a positive one while also bringing some humor to any situation. It vivifies, invigorates, and enhances optimism.

2. Color Therapy: Change Your Dress Code!

How would you feel in a world that showed only shades of black and white? At any given moment, colors are influencing your life, moods, and emotions. Colors also affect your overall health and well-being-even subconsciously we wear colors that represent our mood of the day. Each color possesses a specific "vibration" or frequency that corresponds to our chakra system. The colors we wear play with our moods, thus attracting what we put out. Here are some examples:

Red:
Red is hot. It's a strong color that conjures up a range of seemingly conflicting emotions, from passionate love to violence and warfare. Red is cupid and the devil. A stimulant, red is the hottest of the warm colors. Studies show that red can have a physical effect, increasing the rate of respiration and raising blood pressure. Use red to grab attention and to get people to take action. Red is power, hence the red carpet for celebrities and VIPs. Use red when you don't want to sink into the background.

Orange:
Orange is vibrant. It's a combination of red and yellow so it shares some common attributes with those colors. As a warm color, it stimulates the emotions and even the appetite. It denotes energy, warmth, and the sun. But orange has a bit less intensity or aggression than red, calmed by the cheerfulness of yellow.

Yellow:
Yellow is sunshine. It is a warm color that, like red, has conflicting symbolism. On the one hand it denotes happiness and joy, but on the other hand it's the color of cowardice and deceit. It is the color to lifts spirits and project optimism. The "yellowest" essential oils are lemon and grapefruit. Roman Chamomile has a pinch of yellow.

3. Selective Reading
Take some time during your lunch for a little bit of fun! Check out the books below and create a laughter group with your colleagues. This will help to cope with a heavy workload, bond with your coworkers, and release all the stress of the day.

4. Spoil Your Body
A mineral bath salt replenishes your energy, draws the toxins and bad thoughts out, and profoundly nourishes your body with natural minerals. Try the following mineral bath salt today and repeat it as often as once or twice a week for a home spa rejuvenating cure.

* 1 C. Fine Sea Salt
* ½ tsp. Liquid Glycerin (skin moisturizer, optional)
* ½ C. Epsom salt
Your Replenishing Aromatic Blend:
* 7 drops Mandarin
* 6 drops Orange
* 4 drops Grapefruit

Directions:
Mix ingredients well. Sprinkle into bath water anytime you need to be rejuvenated! Don't wash hair with this water; it may leave it dry.
