RECIPE 3
Combine over low heat, stirring
constantly until mixture becomes stiff and comes away from sides
of pot:
* 1 cup salt
* 4 tablespoons oil
* 2 cups flour
* 4 tablespoons cream of tartar
* 2 cups water
* Food coloring
Store in a closed container
or plastic bag.
RECIPE 4
Mix:
* 1 cup cornstarch
* 2 cups bicarbonate of soda
* 1 1/2 cups cold water
* Food coloring
Heat over medium heat, stirring
constantly until mixture is dough like. Cool, covered with a
damp cloth. Coat finished products with a shellac to seal and
preserve. |
