Instead of
having it dark as you do your spa, open up the windows and let
the sunshine come through it will leave you, refreshed.
Pour 2 cups
of whole milk and 1 drop of cream into your bath with 3 drops
of your favorite essential oil.
Cover your
face in a mask and soak in the bath, the milk will soften your
skin. When your get out of your bath squeeze out the water from
a washcloth, and pour some oil onto it, dry your body this way.
At the end
of this bath you will feel relaxed, and rejuvenated, you'll also
have a beautiful soft skin and glow about you.
P.s. Remember
to take off your mask!!!
Winter Cheer Up - BY CAROLE S.
In these dreary days of winter,
I cheered myself up by buying a wall plaque (a sun with rays)
and painted it a bright yellow. I also bought some sunflower
decals and put them all on a wall above my p.c. What could be
more cheery than a sun and sunflowers?
Re-lax Routine - BY LORAN A,
What you were
thinking and how you were reacting stressed you, your body reacted
and became tense, didn't it? So... undo the physical signs of
stress and the mind will follow suit... Yes, it works. Giving
the message to your body that you want to calm can quickly bring
down your stress levels. When we feel stressed we lift our shoulders
as if we were about to run away. We start to breathe faster to
supply our body with oxygen for our muscles to go into action
to help escape. Eventually we will
get a sore neck and shoulders, a headache and if it becomes chronic,
maybe high blood pressure and other nasties.
Try this..
Take deeper slower breaths and keep that going at a comfortable
rate. Now, on every out-breath let your shoulders drop a little
more (making more distance between them and your ears) and mentally
tell yourself the magic word slowly.. 'Re-lax'. Do this when
you're on overload and before it gets that far. Do this at traffic
lights, and in shopping queues, or before going into a stressful
situation. Make it a daily habit to do your Re-lax routine...
it could become second nature - then you could work on the environment,
attitude and thinking patterns that cause you to become stressed.
