--> Grind a half-cup of
each: walnuts, brown sugar with two teaspoons each of honey,
almond oil and jojoba oil in a food processor. Rub the mixture
on damp feet like an exfoliator, rinse it off and then moisturize.
--> Also, if you apply face
mask to tops of your feet and toes, put on cotton socks and go
to bed, your feet will feel soft and smooth when you wake up.
Knees and elbows can be addressed by slathering them with lotion
and applying tube socks with the toes cut out so you can slip
them on over top of problem areas.
--> Another tip for extremely
dry hands is to slather them in lotion of choice and place them
in plastic baggies and cover for 15 minutes with a heating pad.
The heat opens pores and allows the moisturizer to soak in better.
--> To intensify the effect
of any moisturizer apply a little extra virgin olive oil on top.
Olive oil is also a wonderful once a week treatment to revive
your hair. Heat up a few tablespoons of olive oil in the microwave,
run it over unwashed hair, leave on for 20 minutes and then shampoo.
--> A damp towel heated
in the microwave for about 20 seconds and wrapped around head
that has conditioner provides a deep conditioning effect.
--> If your scalp is tight
and dry, rinse with apple cider. Its soothing and removes excess
buildup from hair products.
--> Chapped lips can be
alleviated by using a teaspoon of honey and sugar on a toothbrush,
(or 1/2 teaspoon baking soda mixed with contents of Vitamin E
capsule will also work) which removes loose skin, making them
soft and smooth. Genty brush lips with mixture. |
