Red wine on carpet - BY LISA F
This will probably sound crazy but it works like a charm. When red wine is spilled on the carpet just pour white wine on top!!! Make sure to pour it completely over the red wine stain then blot thoroughly (no rubbing), I like to use a disposable diaper as the absorbency is fabulous, but a sanitary napkin/pad (Kotex) works in a pinch.
Baking Soda Idea - BY MAMASAN49
Keep a shaker of baking soda by your sink, great for scouring ceramic baking dishes, plastic tableware, etc. Inexpensive and doesn't scratch.
Removing Heel Marks - BY S. CRAWFORD
If you get black marks on your floors from high heels, just erase them! A plain pink eraser does the trick every time!
Say Goodbye To Mildew - BY JASON B
To remove mildew from the shower stall, spray with 10% bleach ( put in a spray bottle filled with water ). Spray on any mildew areas then let it sit for 15 minutes. Presto! It's a goner!
Clutter Free Stairs - BY KAREN G
I keep my stairs clutter free by keeping one empty basket at the bottom of the stairs and another upstairs. Anything that is lying around that needs to go upstairs I throw into the basket, then next time I go upstairs I just take the little basket, dump into the other and sort later when time is more convenient. Its easy and even kids can help too!
Oil Stains On Driveway - BY GREG COLLINS
Sprinkle some kitty litter on those nasty oil stains that can destroy the asphalt. The litter absorbs the oil. Let it sit for a little bit, then sweep away.
