Soap Scum Remover - BY TEENA R.
I have a glass shower and to clean the soap scum from the inside I use dryer sheets. It works extremely well, just wet and wipe, no elbow grease required.
Clothes Dry Faster - BY TERESA M.
A way I have found to dry clothes faster, plus less wrinkles, is to put two tennis balls in the dryer with your clothes.
Tar on Carpet - BY GWEN
Spray WD-40 on it and brush. It works wonders.
Oily Stains - BY HEATHER R.
Here's another one that works on fresh oily stains. I used it in the kitchen as an emergency measure when I spilled olive oil on a favourite pair of jeans (their tagline "gets grease out of your way" came immediately to mind, so I tried it figuring I had nothing to lose except a stain!):

Dawn Dish Liquid: pour/drop Dawn dish soap directly on oily stain, let penetrate and wash normally as soon as possible. Stain will lift out and you'll never know you had a kitchen mishap.

I've also used Dawn liquid to remove cat vomit and hairballs from the carpet: clean up the majority of the mess, then pour a few drops of liquid on a clean white cloth (I sometimes use an orphaned sports sock for the task), add a bit of water and scrub the carpet from the outside inwards, in gentle circular motions or back & forth. Repeat and rinse lightly as necessary. The soap is mild but check for colourfastness first before doing a whole area. I don't use expensive stain remover anymore and it's saving me a fortune! My two elderly cats have a tendency towards furballs and eating too quickly, so it's a godsend.
Window Cleaning - BY DAR, TEXAS
I found this tip by accident one day. I was boiling two cut up lemons to make a spray for my dogs to keep fleas away and my husband wanted to clean his work truck windows so he took the spray bottle for window cleaner except it was the spray bottle I had put the juice of the lemons in. It cleaned his windows so clean that now that's what I use to clean the house windows, they come so clean!
