Coconut Oil - BY ESOPHY
When I was in Thailand, I developed a heat rash that covered my face, neck and arms. A local lady advised me to use coconut oil and voila, within a few hours, my skin stopped itching, and the rashes began to disappear. Within a few days my skin cleared completely and would only reoccur when I stopped using it.

I also recall my mother using coconut oil on my hair and skin as a child. I recently began to incorporate the use of coconut oil, in my daily life. I cook with it, I use it as a hair and skin moisturiser and have noticed some great benefits. My skin is smooth and my hair is so soft. And another added great benefit, I recently learned is that coconut oil assists in weight loss.

P.S. Better to use organic or extra virgin coconut oil which can be found in health or Indian/Caribbean food stores.
Ingrown Toenails and Sties - BY CHELSY T., SAINT JOHN, N.B., CANADA
My mother swore by placing wet bread on ingrown toenails and sties. Apparently it draws out the infection. I find it works for me and having something wet and cool on an ingrown toe-nail is also soothing.
Toe and Fingernail Fungus and Athlete's Foot - BY PAUL C.
For toe and fingernail fungus and athelete's foot use pure coconut oil a couple times a day. Applied in the morning and evening will cure it for most. If you eat anywhere from 2 to 4 tablespoons per day of coconut oil you can lose weight and knock out the fungus internally, too. This assumes that sufferers will stop eating a high glycemic diet, too. If you eat lots of sugar and refined carbs the yeast and fungus will love you for providing them with such a wonderful home.Your nails will be gone before you reach 60 or they will be pretty ugly and thick.
Bath For Sore Achy Feet - BY CYNTHIA P.
Soak your tired feet in a soothing bath of essential oils and warm water. Get a container big enough to put your feet in, add warm water (about 1 1/2 gallons) to cover the feet then add 5 drops of lavender essential oil, 7 drops of peppermint oil, 4 drops of Australian tea tree oil and 4 drops of rosemary oil. Stir well then submerse both feet into the water. Soak for 15 minutes. Relax. Unwind. Feel the days tension release after using this foot bath recipe. Enjoy!
Apple Cider Vinegar For Strong Body Odor - BY N.H.
If you have strong body odor; before applying your deodorant mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar pat onto your underarm and after if dries apply your regular deodorant. I swear it will keep you fresh all day. Some people don't even have to apply the deodorant. I've also heard of some people applying it to the bottom of their feet. Also, another quick tip, the best moisturizer for your face is olive oil (night time only). DHC skin products have a huge selection of olive oil products that do wonders on your skin. Trust me I have oily skin and they do not clog my pores.
