Easing The Pain of An Ear Infection or Ear Ache - BY CHRISTINE T.

Here is a remedy that has been passed down in my family for many generations.

--------------
Materials Needed: 1 Lavender scented candle, 1 medicine dropper, 2 small cotton balls, lighter/matches, lavender oil, a spoon or very small saucer.

Directions: Using lighter/matches, light the lavender scented candle and let burn for 1 minute. Place a small amount of lavender oil into the spoon or small saucer and hold over the flame. Do not hold oil in the flame. Heat for anywhere from 40 to 90 seconds. Use the medicine dropper to collect heated oil. Place a few drops into each ear and plug with cotton balls. Leave in for about a minute and the pain should start to fade if not disappear completely.

--------------
Well, there you have it. I hope that it helps others just as it has helped my family.

Hacking Cough/ Cold - BY ANN G-K.
Tried all kinds of cough medicine to stop your coughing! Try this it really works even for small children when they are sick. Take your regular medicine (tylenol etc.) Rub the chest with vicks vapour rub and a thinner layer for children. Take a face cloth and soak it in very cold water and squeeze out the water and fold into three layers and wrap this around the neck and get a hand towel and fold it into two or three so you can put it on around the neck on top of the wet face cloth and pin it with baby safety pins, so it will not fall off. Within approximately 15 to 20 minutes the cough will subside. If you start coughing again that means your face cloth is hot and resoak it and repeat again. The cold cloth actually takes the swelling down inside your throat and usually lets you sleep through the night.
Tip For Vaginal Itching - BY HEATHER P.
This is an old wives' tale that really works: Unroll a tampon and insert a small piece of cut fresh garlic clove. Then roll up the tampon and insert into body. Leave in for the day and then replace with a new one. Replace as needed.

The garlic will bring down the pH in the vaginal area and stop the itching. If you have a yeast infection and use this method at the first sign of itching, the infection will clear up on its own without any other treatment. This is worth the slight garlic scent and I swear by this method!
Restless Legs - BY INGER B.
A calcium pill before going to bed does wonders for restless legs. Proven fact.
