Superior Hair Treatment -
BY MEGAN
V |
|
This is a GREAT hair conditioner,
superior to all others!
- ½ cup coconut oil
- One-tablespoon bath oil (scented
to hide smell)
- Two-teaspoons olive oil
- Two drops of vanilla extract
- One egg, whipped
- One-cup milk
- ½ cup water
- One-tablespoon honey
- One avocado
- One banana (mashed)
- One-cup mayonnaise
In one bowl, combine coconut
oil, bath oil, olive oil and vanilla extract. It is important
that you do this first so that the smell has time to settle.
In another bowl, whip one egg until fluffy. Continue mixing on
low and add milk, and water. Heat honey so it is soft and warm
and then add to egg mixture. Mash avocado, banana and mayonnaise
in a separate bowl until it is a mint-yellow color. Then, add
egg mixture to the avocado mixture and fold them together until
mixed completely. Finally, add in coconut mixture and stir in
gently. Let cool in fridge for about 30-40 minutes. Put on shampooed
hair and comb through and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse out
very well and follow with a good conditioner (to rinse out smell).
Keep this concoction refrigerated and it should last at least
two weeks. This should make hair shiny, soft, and silky. It will
help repair broken or damaged hair and reduce frizz. Enjoy! |

Oily Hair - BY CTHORSERIDER |
|
To get rid of oily hair mix 1
part lemon juice with three parts warm (not hot!) water after
shampooing and let your scalp soak in it. Don't rinse it out!!!!!
If you add honey it makes your hair soft and shiny. |

Hair Tips - BY MERCURYGODDEZ |

I find that washing hair every
day leaves hair frizzy and feathery and unmanagable to say the
least!
I use a LOT of conditioner
diluted with warm water and let my hair soak in that for about
10 or 20 minutes. I also rub a dab of olive oil rubbed into damp
hair after showering is really good too. I NEVER ever ever use
hair spay or mousse or gel, god, that stuff scares me! I only
use a little baby detangler which smooths my hair and makes it
shiny, plus it smells nice! Once a month, me and my girlfriends
have a beauty sleepover and brush out one another's hair in the
moonlight. Henna, used in the same recipe for tattooing skin,
will redden hair to extreme colours! Apply to only the hairs
you want highlighted, and protect the rest of your head from
becoming blood red too! |
